• Mail In Service (Estimated time of completion from mail in date (5-7 days within USA and Canada)

• We will remove the IHS (Internal Heat Spreader) that is glued on

• This process is also known as a ‘De-Lid’ informally

• Thermal Paste will be replaced on the CELL CPU and RSX GPU die and on top of the heat spreaders

• This service will fix overheating problems or fan noise related issues

• Liquid Metal instead of Thermal Paste can also be requested by the customer

1. Mail In Service (Estimated time of completion from mail in date (5-7 days within USA and Canada)

2. YLOD or Red Light of Death Error is first diagnosed using SYSCON

3. Thermal Paste will be replaced on the CELL CPU and RSX GPU on top of the heat spreaders as they will be separated from the heatsink
