You will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the non working hard drive from your PS4 which is relatively easy and the screwdriver is very common. Incase you don’t have one check out our Fasttech Tool Kit which not only has a Phillips driver but many others and can disassemble any electronics device.

You can also opt to install a SSD instead of a conventional hard drive which will improve loading times in games.
